An at-home virtual parent-child preschool program.
Virtual Kinder Bugs (VKB) a true play based early learning experience at home for children 2.5 to 5 years old.
This program is child focused, parent supported and educator facilitated. It is not an "edutainment" computer program with automated drills, disguised as learning.
The VKB program includes purposeful teaching, engaging instruction, developmentally appropriate learning and hands-on activities that supports all areas of development.
Through joyful learning, this unique program focuses on these 8 areas of development:
Early literacy
Early math
Thinking/problem-solving
Gross motor
Fine-motor
Self-help
Social/emotional
Creativity
Blossom's Virtual Kinder Bugs is the best alternative to a quality, in-person preschool. Whether your child is at home with you or in childcare, this program will help ensure that your child is meeting and mastering all their developmental milestones as well as help prepare them for entry into school.
Each week’s lesson’s revolve around a theme. Enrolment in this program includes a box of learning materials (Play Pack) to be used during the class videos. There are a few items that are not included in the Play Pack that you will need (a list will be provided in advance). There are three classes (different videos) per week. The videos are about 25-35 minutes long.
The lessons are made available inside a private Facebook group. You can watch the videos at you r own pace The lessons are set up into “Guides” inside the Facebook… this allow you to easily mark and keep track of the ones you completed.
The Virtual Kinder Bugs Program is divided into two 13-week sessions. I recommend that you take part one before taking part two, however, it is not absolutely necessary.
